NXT Thanksgiving Classic

NXT Thanksgiving Championship 3-Day Tournament • 4-Game Guarantee

Celebrate Thanksgiving weekend with three days of competitive baseball and a chance to take home an NXT championship!

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

Four-game guarantee, weather permitting. Pool play followed by single-elimination playoffs. Divisions require at least four paid teams. We will post final division formats with the schedule. We will contact teams before finalizing any proposed age-group combination.

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT

All teams must register through the NXT Sports USA registration website.

Full payment is required to lock in your team’s spot. Registration alone does not reserve or guarantee entry. Spots are secured on a first-paid basis, subject to division availability.

All tournament fees must be paid no later than seven days before the event. We may remove unpaid teams to make room for paid teams.

GAME SCHEDULE & RULES

Schedules will be available by Thursday at 9:00 p.m. before the event.

Age-specific game times, run limits, tiebreakers, and championship rules will be published with the event rules before play begins. All games follow NXT Sports USA tournament rules.

NXT will provide game balls for each game.

CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS

Division Champions: Champion rings and a team championship banner. Division Finalists: Finalist rings.

ROSTERS & PLAYER ELIGIBILITY

Teams must complete their online roster before their first game. All players must have completed parent/guardian waivers and required age-verification documents.

Rosters lock at the start of the event. Players who are not listed on the approved roster are not eligible to participate. Use of an ineligible player may result in forfeiture.

Managers are responsible for confirming player eligibility and having proof of age or an approved grade exemption available upon request.

NXT PLAYER PASS

The NXT Player Pass is optional for this Thanksgiving 2026 event.

WEATHER & EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY

NXT will make every reasonable effort to complete the tournament. Weather, unsafe field conditions, or circumstances beyond our control may require schedule changes, shortened games, format adjustments, or cancellation.

If weather or circumstances beyond NXT’s control prevent completion of the event, teams will receive a future-event credit based on games completed:

A shortened game counts as completed only if it meets the official game requirements in the published NXT tournament rules. Starting a game alone does not make it a completed game.

Credits are valid for 12 months from the canceled event date, apply to NXT-operated events, and are issued to the registered team.

If a division does not fill, or NXT cancels for operational reasons, teams may choose a full refund of amounts paid to NXT for the event or a future-event credit.

TEAM PREPARATION

Teams are encouraged to bring a first-aid kit and ensure players have adequate water and appropriate equipment throughout the event.
